The success of the Tiny Hero

Trixi is a cheerful girl in the fourth grade. More than anything in the world, she loves table tennis. Every night, she dreams of becoming a world-famous player and winning a gold medal.
The story of Trixi and the Ant
Trixi practices every single day. She hits the ball back and forth until her arms feel tired. Because she works so hard, her teachers choose her to play in the District Level Competition. Trixi is so excited!

The big day arrives. It is the day to show the result of her long time practice. Her friends, teachers, and parents everyone waits to see the end.

Trixi plays her best, but the other players are very fast. In the end, Trixi loses the game. She feels like her dream is drifting away.

When Trixi gets home, she goes to her room and starts to cry. "I’m not good enough," she sobs. She wants to put her paddle away and never play table tennis again.

At that time Trixi’s Dad comes into the room. He doesn't tell her to stop crying. Instead, he kneels down and points to the floor. "Trixi, look at this little ant," he says softly.

There is a tiny ant, who has found a grain of sugar. To the ant, that sugar is very big. The ant pushes with all its might, but the grain stays still. It pulls and pulls, but the sugar slips away.
The ant does not walk away. It tries a different side. It tries one more time. Suddenly, the grain moves just a little bit! Step by step, the tiny ant starts to carry the heavy sugar all the way to its home.

Dad looks at Trixi and says, "That ant is very small, but it has a big heart. If you try hard and never give up, you will move your mountains too." Trixi listened to her dad carefully and was very inspired by the litte ant. She understands the value of ''Try Try Again''.

Trixi wipes her tears, picks up her racquet, and smiles. She is ready to practice again!
