Sunny's Vacation-Time Management

Sunny was a happy boy. He was always very active and liked to play various games. But he had one bad habit. He didn't like to study every day. He believed that doing everything at the last minute was a great plan. He spent his days playing while his books gathered dust.
A story of students' duty
Whenever he had homework or a book to read, he would say, "I will do it all together at the end!" Due to this reason, his mother was very worried about him, and she planned to give him a lesson at the right time.

After some time the summer vacation started. Sunny was excited. He planned for a trip and asked his mother, "Mom, I want to go on a long tour! I want to see the mountains and the beaches for many days, just like my friends," he said. His mother smiled and said, "Ok, but wait a little longer, Sunny. I have some office works."

One week passed, then two. Sunny’s friends were posting photos from their long trips. Every morning, Sunny asked, "Mom, can we go now?" But his mother always gave the same answer: "Not today. We will go later." Sunny went back to his games, thinking they would just go for a very long time at the very end.

Slowly, more than half of the summer vacation was over. There were only a few days left before school started. Sunny became very worried. He realized that a "long tour" takes a lot of time, and they didn't have much time left. He ran to his mother with tears in his eyes.

"Mom!" Sunny cried. "Almost all my vacation is gone! My friends went on tours so many days ago. How can we go on a long tour now? There is no time left to travel to far-off places!" He finally realized that you cannot fit a long tour into short time.

His mother sat him down and asked, "Sunny, if you are hungry, can you eat 30 days' worth of food in one hour? No, your stomach would hurt. Can a worker do a whole month’s work in just one day? No, they would collapse." She showed him that life happens in small pieces, day by day.

Then, she explained the main lesson: "You can't learn everything in just one night, just like you can't go on a long trip in a short time. Your brain is like a suitcase or your stomach—it can only hold a little bit at a time. If you don't study a little every day, you will have way too much to do at the very end."

After listening to his mother’s examples, Sunny finally realised his mistake. He understood that "all at once" is a bad plan. He promised his mother that he would study a little bit every single day instead of waiting until the end.
The Lesson: Whether it is traveling, eating, or studying, you cannot rush time. Do a little bit every day, and you will never be left behind!

Sunny’s mother was very relieved and happy. She didn't want to punish him; she just wanted him to be responsible. There were still ten days of vacation left. So, as she promised him, they didn't waste any more time. The very next day, they packed their bags and left for a trip for the rest of the vacation.
