Two Brothers-Importance of Healthy Food

Ayan and Rayan are two brothers studying in the same school. Ayan is thirteen years old, and Rayan is seven years old.
A story of brotherhood & healthy food
Ayan is the best player on the school’s senior football team. He is fast, strong, and never seems to get tired. Rayan watched every game from the sidelines. Rayan didn't just want to watch anymore; he wanted to be a hero on the field just like his big brother.

One morning, a bright poster appeared on the school notice board: "Junior Team Selections Next Month!" Rayan’s heart raced with excitement. This was his big chance! He told Ayan, "I’m going to practice every single day until I’m the best player in my class." Ayan smiled and promised to help him train.

Every afternoon, the brothers went to the park. Ayan taught Rayan how to dribble through cones and how to aim for the corners of the net. Rayan had great footwork and a powerful kick. For the first two weeks, he looked like a future champion, and everyone who watched him was impressed by his performance.

The problem started on the walk home. Near the park, there was a shop that sold salty chips, greasy burgers, and sugary sodas. Rayan was always feeling hungry after practice. He said, "I worked hard, so now I deserve some yummy food". He began filling his stomach with oily snacks and fizzy drinks every single evening, ignoring the healthy dinner waiting at home.

Ayan warned him, "football is played with your lungs and muscles, not just your feet. That junk food is like putting cheap, dirty oil in a fast racing car. It will slow you down when you need speed the most." Rayan just ignored, thinking his talent was enough to win.

The day of the selection match arrived. In the first ten minutes, Rayan played well, but then something happened. His legs feel heavy. He runs out of breath and cannot keep up with the other players.

You didn’t come this far to stopBecause Rayan could not play his best, he was not picked for the team. He felt very sad and started to cry. He didn't understand why he performed so poorly when he had practiced so much.

At home, Ayan explained to his little brother, "To be a great player, your body needs 'super fuel' like fruits and vegetables. Junk food is 'slow fuel.'" Rayan promised to eat healthy from now on so he could make the team next time!
