Little Penguins: Unity is Strength

Once upon a time, in a land of sparkling white snow and deep blue ice, lived a big family of penguins.

The baby penguins were very cute, but they were also very curious. They loved to waddle away and explore the icy hills all by themselves.

A story of Iceland

The mother penguins were worried. They called the babies together and said:"Listen, little ones! The snowy world is big and can be dangerous. You must always stay together. When you are a group, you can watch out for grumpy seals or hungry birds. Remember, you are safer when you are a team!"

One bright morning, the sun was shining on the ice. All the baby penguins decided to go for a long walk to find a fun place to play. They stayed close together and walked in a long, shaky line—waddle, waddle, waddle.

Suddenly, the sky grew dark. A giant windstorm started to blow. Whoosh! Whoosh! The wind was very cold and very strong. The baby penguins could not see the path. They had to find a place to hide from the snow.

"Look! A cave!" shouted one little penguin. They all ran as fast as they could into the rocky cave. Inside, there was no wind. It was quiet and safe. The babies huddled together to stay warm and waited for the storm to end.

Suddenly, they heard a loud CRUNCH! A massive piece of ice fell from the top of the cave. It landed right in the doorway! The cave was now blocked by a giant ice wall. It was very dark, and the baby penguins were very afraid.

One little penguin tried to push the ice with his flippers, but it did not move. Then, two penguins tried to push together, but the ice was still too heavy. They were tired and sad. "We are stuck!" they cried, but some of them also discussed how to get out.

"Stop!" said the oldest baby penguin. "We should not work alone. Let's work as a team like our mothers told us!" All the baby penguins lined up in a row." They counted, "One, two, THREE!" They pushed with all their might. Snap! The ice moved! They pushed again, and the road was clear. They were free!

They came out of the cave. The storm has stopped, and it was beautiful sunshine again. The baby penguins cheered and did a happy snow dance.

When they reached home that very evening, they told their mothers what happened. They learned that while one little penguin is small, a group of penguins is very powerful.

Lessons: Unity is strength. When we work together, no problem is too big to solve!
