Friends with big heart

Habu was a very big baby whale. He lived in the deep, blue sea. Because he was so large, he thought he was the king of the ocean!
Story of a baby whale
Because Habu was so large, he started to get a bit proud. He thought his size gave him the right to do whatever he wanted. When the sea-kids gathered to play hide-and-seek in the coral, Habu was a bit of a bully. He would bump into his friends and knock them over. He wasn't being a good friend.

Habu would use his powerful tail to swat at the Turtle or poke at the Octopus just to see them wobble. When the tiny Seahorses tried to race, he would swim right through their track, sending them spinning in his wake. For Habu, it was just a joke, but to the others, it was hurtful.

Whenever someone said him, "Hey Habu, that’s not nice!" or "You’re hurting us!" Habu would just puff out his chest. He said" I’m bigger than you, so I make the rules. Don't mess with me, or I'll splash you even harder!" This thing made his friends sad.
One sunny afternoon, Habu swam too close to the beach. He wasn't paying attention to how shallow the water was getting. Suddenly, a giant wave pushed him toward the beach. As the tide rolled back out, Habu felt the sand beneath his belly. He had reached the shore.

Habu was stuck on the sand. He could not swim, and he could not move. He was very scared. Being out of the water is a scary thing for a whale. Habu tried to wiggle, but he was too heavy. He tried to flip his tail, but there was no water to push against.

Habu looked out at the ocean. The water was far from him. He felt himself small for the very first time in his life. He was dry, and frightened. He realised that all his "bigness" couldn't save him now. He felt very helpless and lonely.

Suddenly, Habu heard a familiar sound: Scritch, scratch, scritch. It was Toby, his Turtle friend. And Toby wasn't alone. He had brought his whole family. Despite Habu being mean to them before, the turtles didn't leave him behind.

All the turtles tucked their heads down and used their shells to push with all their might. Slowly, inch by inch, they moved the giant whale toward the sea. After some time, a large wave caught Habu and pulled him back into the deep, cool blue water. Habu took a deep breath through his blowhole and looked at his small friends. He felt very sorry.

Habu was so happy to be home. He said "Thank you" to the turtles. He learned that being kind is much more important than being big. From that day on, Habu used his strength to protect the others, proving that the best way to be big is to be kind. Now, they all play together happily.
